Re: Gasoline-Wash/Oregon

yes but your car was prolly tuned for the 92 octane and 14 psi, jeepos car is running a stock tune, stock compression, and 5 psi. im sure the last thing hed want is detonation when he is far away from home.

LMFAO!! RIIIIIGHT!

do you have ANY idea what we had to tune with back then? I was running a FMU and a BTM with 36# injectors using a MAF Translator for the injectors.

on a STOCK tune

BTW the gas does not get to bad till you hit lower oregon and Cali. Well unless you are a Cheap bastard and trip your POS over to AM/PM for that Arco crap or some other cheap stuff. WA gas is MUCH better then both from the tripps we have taken. I found no reall improvement or need for Can. 94 over our 92

Im not sure where the american fuel is coming from. I do know for sure that my old 377ci would not run on 92/93 w/o detonation. 94 octane chevron was all that pig liked. It did OK on Petro-Can 94. No detonation but lacking power. There definatly is a difference between 94 and 92. If you run a bastard engine like mine you will figure that out real quick .
