FS: 91 S-10 V8 fuel injected, Build to suit

Well, it's come to this.

My life has changed enough that my pride and joy, my 1991 Chevy S-10 of my street-racing youth has lost its usefulness to me, and I have to find a new owner. To sum up this truck, basically, think of a late 80s camaro with a different body, then do up the engine as much as possible, put a trans-am 5 speed and custom clutch in there with 4.1 gears and posi, fill it with thousands of dollars of stereo equipment, paint it with base/clear pearl blue metalic (viper blue), and you get this truck. It was my daily driver until it became unrealistic for me to use it every day to drive downtown and park in bad areas. And.. it just rips up the street

Currently, the truck is in the process of getting a new bottom end, and this is the reason I'm offering this vehicle as build to suit. Since I'm building the engine already, I'd happily put anything you wish into it if you put a deposit down for purchase and tell me what you want to see put into it. Here's what you already have to work with:

-World products hand-ported high velocity cylinder heads, decked and receiver grooved with stainless valves and comp-cams springs
-Comp cams 276/281 roller cam at 112 deg (awesome cam)
-Crane 1.6 ratio gold roller rockers
-Comp cams hydraulic lifters w small oriface for higher RPMs
-Billet aluminum valve covers and custom breather
-Ligenfelter/Accel box intake system with 1000CFM throttle body
-Accel intake manifold
-24lbs injectors
-bosche high flow fuel pump (custom fit in tank)
-Flowmaster muffler and custom exhaust
-Headman headers
-SpeedPRO Programmable fuel injection system
-MSD ignition
-new Taylor 8mm wires (and other unsignificant things)
-350 bare block, virtually new crank, rods, yet to be machined, and crank will be balanced.
-hyperucleptic pistons (spelling?)
-Trans-am series 5 speed borg warner T-5 with nickel alloy gears
-Borg warner custom 10.5" clutch disc
-gear reduction racing starter
-4.10 gears with new, working Aubern posi

Based on these parts, you are more than welcome to specify things like compression ratio, amount of bore, grind on crank, and other factors. This combo could easily be supercharged, turbo'd, or NOS injected, if desired (ECU allows for nitrous setups), and is already setup with receiver grooves for high pressure setups.

All assembly will be done by Harrison Performance Engineering in North Vancouver, BC, and other than cost of additional parts, you will not pay labour (within reason). Vehicle will have a 3 month limited warranty.

About the rest of the truck:

-Base/clear paint job of pearl, viper intense blue metalic, with newly installed roll pan and clear rear lenses and clear front turnsignal lenses
-Grant 1020 black leather molded steering wheel
-Beltech nitroactive shocks front and rear
-Beltech 2" drop spindles
-3.5" drop blocks in rear
-S-10 extreme wheels and fresh Comp T/A tires
-Autometer racing recall monster Tach
-Alpine head unit with 12disc AI-NET changer, pioneer and PPI amps (4ch and 2ch for subs), 2x12" subs in custom box that allows rear passenger, 5.25 composites custom mounted in door with tweeters, JBL fronts, 4x10 rears, and much more. Amps and subs can be removed without any noticeable change to stock appearance.
-rubber bed liner
-rail system tonau cover (needs new vinyl, unfortunately, but no holes or velcro on bed for this!)
-Alpine SEC-8049 security system with dual stage shock sensor, and motion/radar sensor (complete with tuning service manual)

I'm sure I'm forgetting tons. It's hard to recall all the things that have gone into this vehicle, besides my heart and soul. It really kills me to have to sell it, but we all have to live realistically sometimes.

Price is $13,500 cdn for a vehicle with over $35,000 of receipts and money invested, and literally hundreds of manhours, but I'd take offers on it. Please see the attached pictures, and feel free to request any others. Keep in mind, the engine pictures are before the rebuild I'm doing now, but all components are there.

Please contact me either by cel (604) 805-7377 or PM me here or on any of the instant messengers. I'd be happy to talk about it with you! Any viewing can be done down at Harrison Performance at 1481 Barrow St in North Vancouver, BC, (604) 986-6869.

I wondered who would be the first to post...

Seems like more than a handful of people have more than a little of themselves invested in this truck too.

Again, it's hard for me to even post this, but if it goes to a good home, I'll be happy

Well, I put some 4-link bars on the frame and rear housing to help with tire hop. Yeah, it does have some traction issues that could probably be dealt with by taking a leaf spring out. I just never did that.

It will now... new engine, remember? Hehe..

I'm finishing it off only to sell it to someone else to enjoy. Go figure :P

It's been a worn out, oil burning 305 it's entire life and has needed a bottom end, which is why I'm doing that before selling it. The parts on it are ones that others I know have achieved very very impressive setups with (I'd quote numbers but my dad would know more specifics).

Engine's being built by one of Vancouver's premiere engine builders. Any doubts? Check out www.inlinesix.com to see his resume
