Thumbs up Finally got the Z back on the road

Well the Z blew a head gasket early last summer about this same time and it's been sitting in an auto caccoon for a long time. Over the last 2 months I've been fixing, adding and improving a few things and last weekend I got to fire it up.

Things Added:
Heads got valvegrind, decked and new springs
Meziere WP
1.6rr's on exhuast side
Holley 52mm TB (upgraded from the stocker, thanks JD)
and a few other little things

Today I'm tackling some exhaust, y-pipe leaks. It appears that the copper header gaskets are NOT re-usable after all lol....

Will Be Added By Mid Summer:
New Clutch
3" exhaust cutout
30lb injectors
255lph pump
Moser 12 bolt w/4.10's
Relocation brackets
ET Streets
Dyno Tuning w/wideband

Looking forward to making some passes later in the season with the new goods, woohoo.....

Any guess' on ET's, RWHP? Oh yah, still the same stock 100k+ mile short block.....

Mike

PS
Anyone interested in a moderately modded 92 AWD Turbo Talon?

Thanks for the offer, but I already have an Eaton posi, 4.10 gears, 3.73 gears and an install kit for a 12 bolt. All I need is a housing/axle package and a day to put it together with my choice of ratios. Unless of course you're willing to part it out or take my parts in on partial trade. PM me if interested.

Yeah but I cheaped out and did the double paper gasket trick. When these blow I'll go with copper.

Ya, ya I know I took forever to get her on the road. It's been down so long I completely forgot just how bad my f#ckin' clutch was. It should've been replaced about 5k miles ago. That and my tags are expired lol....

This weekend isn't good for me to get together as we have a wedding to attend on Sat. and I think I'm working on Sunday. Damn work, another reason the car took so long to get running.

We def. need to hook up soon though. Maybe we could meet up at PIR next Friday night. I haven't been to PIR since I saw you there in spring.
