So i live in vancouver, hazel dell, felida area, and got pulled over on 99th street right next to the cheveron where i had got gas earlier, and ended up in the bortalamis pizza parking lot.

His excuse for pulling me over was my exaust is too loud... is there any truth to a law about having mufflers but exaust being too loud???

Then he asked for my license, and proof or insurance...

So i gave it to him, thing is the proof of insurance card i had with me was an expired one, it is insured, and he wasn't buying it, then he asked how long i had the car, and i told him a month or so and he asked why i still had california plates on there and if i knew that was illegal, any truth to that???

Then he asked me how i got the car insured with out it being registered to me?

And then he told me that it was also illegal to drive with out the front bumper, you know... the 2 inch think chrome bumper... that would obviously save my life if i crashed it.... any truth to that as well???

From what i understand, as long as a car is insured under your name you can drive it, now i can understand the exaust... because it is loud as f*** but the front bumper????

So he made me leave it there untill i got all that fixed... but i didn't... i waited about 45 minutes and took off...

No ticket, but im gonna park it till i get some of that fixed... at least the exaust.

But that means i dont have a car to drive, being the 85 isn't working for some reason.

All in all, he really pissed me off, and wasted a bunch of my time.

 

You can be pulled over for having a car too loud(98dB @ 1 meter) with or with out mufflers and it is illegal to drive with out a bumper. The moral of the story is, the pig was being an a**hole about it cause he can.

 

It is true about the bumper but the exhaust he as just wanting to stop someone one most places now there is some kind of noise law but no one cares unless they are trying to pull you over just to stop you i have driven next to cops with open headers and never had them do any more than just look over at me
