another one

http://groups.msn.com/GMsFbody/themo...to&PhotoID=862

$300 which actually seemed to me to be a little expensive given that it took about 2.5 hours - three hours. Materials included though.

Now we start the journey of putting it back together.

I spoke to Rash about a week ago and hopefully will get the motor back soon. The rings HAD washed out and we had buggered the keyway and hub when we put it on last time so I need a new hub but other then that things look to be OK.

Next. I saw the Sunfire today. The RK Sport Streetfire kit fits "OK" not perfect by any means. Although it generally looks good and they have yet to paint it. It is certainly going to look dumb a$$ with the stock rims and tires though. Gonna need new rolling stock but I'm going to sell the car soon so I will not be spending the money.

New car. Well I continue to suffer from withdrawal symptoms and I NEED a horse power fix. 2002 ZO6, 1998 Viper GTS are in the realm at about $50k and the new prices on C5's is just plummeting. You can buy a brand new ZO6 in the States right now (MSRP about $55k) and get a $10,500 DISCOUNT off that.http://www.corvettesbyrickdaniel.com/ $12,000 off verts

Both are hard to justify with the TA in the garage though. I spend a lot of time dreaming about the Caddy CTS V as my first pick but they are going at MSRP right now - $72k - but for that matter so is the 300C (MSRP $47k.) I think in 3 - 4 months they will both be available for a few $$$ less. The GM products also have a bit of a break on financing costs where the 300 does not.

For the moment I'm hoping to be able to just bide my time until the fall. I NEED to get the TA on the road though as I'm going nuts with 140 HP under foot. My 40'th in September so perhaps that will be a good time to treat myself. We'll see.

If I cannot swing the CTS now, I think I'll probably lease the 300C for three years and then get a three year old CTS - I estimate it would cost $35k - $40k at that time.

That being said, if I can find a great deal on a '02 ZO6 perhaps with a few mod's, (say $45 - $48k) well....................

Cool man. Hopefully we will get to scratch the **** out of it putting stuff back in soon . I think $300 is a fair price as well.
