fiberglass hood weight

Is 40 lbs heavy for a fiberglass hood? how much do the 98+ ram air hoods weigh?

What the hell's in that thing...lead.

Should be around 12-18lbs 20 tops

I also found one for 32#. The guy claims that they are 20lbs lighter then the stock factory ram airs.?

heh maybe carbenfiber but not fiberglass my hood is around 30# range.

The weight of these hoods varies widely from manufacturer to manufacturer. I seen them from 25 to 60 lbs.

We bought a ASCD 2 1/2" cowl and removed the bottom half, so it now weights around 20 lbs.

My hood is maybe 20 lbs so that thing weighs a tonne

Here's what he said:
