failed aircare twice!!!!

failed aircare twice!!!!
Got a new cat this week, ran through aircare first time
Reading 1
HC: I got .3774 allowed .5000
CO: I got .0790 allowed 9.3200
NOx: I got 2.2342 allowed 1.2400
Then I replaced the EGR
HC: I got .4211 allowed .5000
CO: I got .1202allowed 9.3200
NOx: I got 2.1686 allowed 1.2400
As you can see I keep failing on NOX. If anyone has any ideas I am open to them. a possible solution I have heard is that the controls for my egr are faulty. but then wouldnt I be getting a code and or a check engine light?

How hot are you running? Turn the fans on full blast & put a 160* thermostat on. But it looks to me like you're CAT is going, your HC is getting close to failing & new CATS acctually lower NOX levels as well because they are a 3 WAY CAT.
