Failed air-care

My one owner car failed air-care today. I passed all the running test but failed on the idle run cause the carbonmonoxide was just over the pass rating at 5.65. A 5 is a pass. No it's not the hawk, it's 75 bug in nice condition. I probably wont keep it very long, anyone looking for a one owner with a newer paint job please send me a pm. My mom bought this car brand new and babied it just like I would for 29 years. It looks clean, runs great except for the carbon problem. I'm gonna check it out this week. Air-care gave a 90 day permit even with the failure. Estimated time in line according to the digital read-out out front, 36 minutes. My time wasted at air-car, almost an hour and a half. This car turns heads but it's not for me.

Appreciate your concern for the hawk. No 4th gen f-body owner wants to see the LS1 fail any test.

That's what I meant. I bought 3 months insurance today, man is it cheaper to insure verses a newer hawk. I got three months worth of insurance for the bug that would last for one month on the hawk.

I'm not quite sure of its value yet, I'm going to get it appraised next week. It has fresh gold paint, new tires and it was rebuilt a few years ago by Sundance in Kelowna. This 75 Volkswagon is fuel-injected with the factory chrome emblem on it. I think it's worth somewhere between 5-10 grand canadian? I'm not sure but someone will get a one owner bug that's eligible for collector's plates next year. It's been very well maintained. Send me a pm if you want a test drive.

I'll call it near-mint and thanks to Jim for towing it down from Kelowna on a flat-deck for three bills.
