Bunker, so if you have 37x at the wheels, how does that compare at the track to Ken having 33x at the wheels and running 12.0s? What has your car run? No times worth posting it seems. So who cares!

Dyno racing is for pansies.

Ken, don't listen to these guys. More cam and more converter and the car WILL go faster. So long as the PCM keeps shifting of course.

Congrats nonetheless!

What days off do you have right now?

hehe YEAH more cam. Junk the XE and get a bigger cam with softer ramps! I have the softest ramps here! hehehe yeah more cam yeah!

I think Ken Could run 11.7s easy with current combo and right weather.

Not everyone has to run juice to get good 11 second passes boys

Dude who cares what you run on the track for ET thats only for Drag guys, I'm a street racer so when i go to the track I just look for MPH & mostly dyno numbers.

Now as to what Ellis says junking the XE, lets just say this new cam thats going in has the softest ramps aswell my advertised(.006) duration is huge while my duration at .050 duration is a bit smaller then my XE cam

the only people who dont care are the ones that cant get there cars to run down the track decent
dude, why did you have to go and say street racer, even though some of us ocasionally do it. to proudly pronounce that makes your credibility go down, especially when you think 1/4 mile times dont mean jack, unless your a "drag" guy sounds like cooked rice to me haha

Credibility means nothing on this board. Say if I or my friend bunker were to... **** your woman tomorrow and your ride broke down, asuming it was a LT1, you'd phone hes *** up and beg him to come over and help.

Now for the street racing remark. We all do it more then you can imagine so theres no point dening it. 1/4 time does not equal HP, mph equals HP which equals "FUN". How would you feel after coming home from the track with a great time but then you get sliced on the highway by a Honda Prelude, I bet i'd know where your woman would be then.

j/k.... adding that in so your feelings don't get hurt.

even if i had an LT1 and it broke down which i dont i wouldnt call him for help, and if any of you were to "****" my woman as you put it. the call wouldnt be fore help, well the second one would be a call for help technically, cuz you got to call for an ambulance haha

to say mph only and no e.t is like a ricer saying hp all the way but torque doesnt matter, they are a 50/50 relationship they need eachother. same with 1/4 mile et alone isnt anyhting and neither is mph thy are both needed together to make a good run. whats yin without yang? besides its easier to spend money and make HP then it is to apply that in a car and drive it to the end to get a good 1/4 time. mph means nothing on its own, technically e.t means your ahead so if your prelude cuts you at a 13.5 at 102 lets say. then your 13.9 at 115 still dont put you in the lead, your gaining on him but your still in 2nd place besides most races on the street dont last more then a 1/4 mile if they have any brains cuz most of the time theres not enough room and theres no point in going faster, if you cant catch the guy within 10 sec of racing flat out chances are you aint gonna pass them unless you go top speed on him. but who cares about that street racing and drag racing is about acceleration not give me 13 sec to catch you, ill pass you once i get to 110 mph lol

Ok.. I have TQ, I have HP all more then you. Just because I or others can't hook on a compound that isen't readily available on the streets, which is where everyone spends most of there time DOES NOT mean i'm a ricer. To produce decent track times and great street skills NOW THAT IS a 50/50 relationship.

Uh, you must not know me too well then. I wouldn't have any of you guys working on my car sorry. Besides, if we were in the scenario you stated above, he'd be unable to work on anyones car.....

You guys are too funny sometimes. I don't see anything wrong w/ abit of Street racing so long as its done w/ yer head on straight...

As far as losing to a Prelude. Pssh. That'll be the day.....

mph=hp=fun???? Uh, I get the feeling you've never been in a car that can actually 60ft. The fun is in the launch man.

Guess its just a difference in perspective.

who cares what you have more then my or not, i have 0 hp and 0 tq does it matter? a model airplane has more of that right now. even with my less power and tq which was 401lbft 357lbft on your preacious wheel dyno i still ran faster then you in the 1/4 what is the fun of not being able to use the power to its full potential and if your talking street racing over drag track racing then what is the difference its still both straight line racing unless your into the bad kind, then i want no part of your street cornering racing.

i dont know whats with lots of people on this board, everything is always a comparison, i got this you dont blah blah blah etc. im tired of it. when i race be it heads up at the track what counts is me getting what i got to work to its best ability and to get it down the track as smooth as possible and drive the car with the best of my ability. the only competiton going on is the race itself. to try and get to the finish line first. or if im bracketing its to race my car to the best of my skills and set it up to the best of my skills to get it right or more consistant then the person im up against. with that you race yourself primarily then your opponent secondary. im just tired of the giant pissing contest always going on, instead of trying to do the best with what you have material and personal.

but if you so like comparisions then next year ill give you all the comparisons you wish, dyno or racing ill send you home crying, if you want to compare

Awwwww dude, see now you've gone and blow it all out of line. Were all having good fun and making little stabs at each other. And you think you'll send me home crying? Why, do you think i'm done with my car and moving on to the cavalier? Gimme a break...

Btw twisties are fun, let's hit up the sea to sky at high speeds sometime.

well if you still want to compare you'll have to wait till next year cuz im missing one motor and one tranny. my camaro will be a drag car primarily so i see little purpose in trying to make it corner. and to quote KTamez "The fun is in the launch man" it is true, the rush from launching fast and continuing to go fast down the track is the rush i like and what i want. cornering rush isnt the same for me

Those are good dyno numbers. Fast enough to beat most on the road and hold your own at the track. Glad to hear it.
