Drove a Z06 (pics inside)

Hey guys, just came back from Vegas. I decided to rent a Z06 down there. And all I have to say is they are sweet!!!

This thing pulls as hard as my T/A, and can hookup relatively depending on the road. But man does it move. The traction control button was always turned OFF!! And I had a reminder of how much a pain the 1-4 skipshift is!! BLAH!!

Anyways checkout the pics.

(click back & next to see a few more)

I also have a small 1.2 meg clip if anybody can host it for me.

If anybody has one for sale I'll trade you my T/A!!

Wow, now that's a dream machine. I bet you hated to return it, shoulda ran the border with it. J/K That damn skip-shift is the worst thing GM could have installed, they claim it saves gas but who cares? I wanna shift when and where I wanna shift, plain and simple. that's why we have the skip-shift eliminator installed as our first mod. I'd like to know how much to rent it too, I'd get my money's worth off the tire tread.

Skip shift is worth it! If GM didnt use it, we would be paying hundreds of dollars more in gas-guzzler taxes when buying these cars. It's very easy to eliminate also

It was $300 USD for the day. All 1st Gen Vipers were $400/day and they had an SRT/10 Viper for $600/day

They had Ferrari's, Porsches, an AC Cobra replica, C5 Verts everything. I've driven a 1999 Ferrari 355 F1, and a '02 Porsche 911 TT so the two cars I wanted to try were the Z06 and the Viper GTS. I chose the Z06 since it was a bit cheaper.

Or you could have a friend that lets you drive his whenever you go out together I had the chance to drive my buddies Z06, numerous times, and I must admit, everytime I got out of his car and back into mine.... I wanted a vette sooooo bad. The drive, the feel is so much smoother and softer, and it has amazig power. My car would feel clunky and old after sitting in his. I remeber one night he let me open it up... actually I told him that I was going to let loose on the freeway so put your belt on ... I dropped to 3rd and hit the pedal.... We took off like a bullet leaving a barrel... man I was loving it. Hit about 240~260 KM and the car was sticking like glue. Things were flying by so fast I had to shut it down. After we just pulled over and sat there with these stupid grins on our faces, giggling and going "Holy ****. Ooohhh mmmaann !!!! Holy ****!!!"
Man what a rush!!!!--->>>>Z06's
