I'm planning a trip to Vancouver this summer.
Is there a dragstrip around that i could visit and if, when are they open?

Damn never seen one in real live.

Mission Park Raceway. About 45 - hours outside of Vancouver. Very well respected track I understand.

 

Ah you mean 45min. to an hour out side of Vancouver right! Not 45 hours outside, cause if you do you had better be walking and if you’re driving you should have your license pulled.

and it's only open on fridays from what i understand...not this friday though

 

I'm previously doing the tourist tour with visiting Banff, Jasper, Whistler and Victoria.
So if there are others "on the road", please let me know.

 

You could come across the boarder & go to Pacific raceways in Kent its only like a 2hr drive.

 

in the vancouver arean, no Mission is the only one, with Friday night 'Street Legals' the only time for the everyday person to go... u'll pay your money and get maybe 3 runs in. and, yes, they do need another track..possibly there's gonna be a 1/8 mile at boundary bay airport, but i dunno what happened to that idea (and its irrelevent for your vacation, sorry)

An 1/8th mile whos great idea was that . . . . the 1/8th is the worst part of the 1/4 by far . We need a standing mile track so we can actually have some fun.
