Craig's times, fast?

Well I have to say Craig just needs to shift a lot faster LOL, even still, while shifting slow and hooking real bad he pulled off a real nice time, this is while running on the rich side etc...

The times?

Amazing: 11.51@131 MPH!!!!

This is on drag radials, 2.1 60' foot, slow shifting and going into 5th, I could easily see 135MPH in there easy! Not bad for a Vortech V1 modified with my dremel to fit LOL, the old style so it makes lots of noise. Ohh and stock short block and heads, and a 216 cam.

Congrats, I se you haven't posted yet so I had to. The car pulls like a raped APE! No joke, I guess it should for that kind of MPH!!!

Re: Craig's times, fast?

Props to Craig!!! You made my night! I beleive he was running a very conservative 11.0 AFR and 19deg total timing @ 11psi.
Congrats to Houman as well. 12.04 @ 114mph out of his turbo 2L!! This was also done with a safe tune 11.2 AFR and 7deg total timing @ 23psi. It was a good night!!!

Re: Craig's times, fast?

Man that was so fun.... first time racing in 3 years. Sucked to get punted off the track though, I have to get a rollbar if I ever want to return - I might just go for it!

Props to Houman, 12.0 is an awesome time considering that dinky little T2 manifold. Those things are really only good up to 300 rwhp or so. TTI actually made a twin T2 manifold turbo kit for the C5, and no one ever broke 600 rwhp with that setup despte many attempts at porting/tweaking.

OUCH!

I think when it getts cold that 11.40 will go down to a FULL N/A car

Weather has gone up alot but is slipping back to a good N/A for Guys like Craig and I I was 11.47 N/A at almost 3,800 Lbs. Now about 150-200 lighter and running 11.5 in the heat

Craig should easily slide under that
