I'm really mad about this. The nice cars that come there all bring business to Java Hut and probably attracted more business from looky-looz and there wasn't really any trouble. Wasn't there enough room for anyone to park? What's up with the ROCK SALT? I'm tired of huge company's bullying the little guy and doing as they please. I smell a class action lawsuit for damages to the finest cars in the land. It's rally time so let's get a convoy together to protest this unethical practice. Get all the car-clubs together and form the biggest revolt a coffee company has ever seen. Who's next, Starbucks, Tim Horton's?

 

I was out at Java for a drive today and mentioned about the paper thingy. The lady said because of the lease (which has 8.5 years left) they can have people there.

She also said that the parking lot manager or (whom ever they are) were trying to baracade things were infringing on the lease. They are in trouble now

She said their are only 3 people over all that don't like people hangng out.

It is not JH causing the problem, I guess it is the Mall landlord. I aslo heard that the police came by and told them they could not baricade the road access in the way they did.

 

umm did u read the article or what??? its not java hut the wants this. As it says in the article "Java Hut, and the rest of the tenants at the Square, were blind-sided by the decision not to let the car enthusiasts meet, said Davis.
"We have a right as a tenant to make a living. The cars that come in - they support our business," Davis said.

 

they kicked some of us out the other night, and i saw the salt on there last weekend. what a bunch of losers nobody causes any trouble.

the salt is a slap in the face, thats intentionally trying to damage someone elses property! that stuff is deadly, rock salt will put a hole in your car, in 5 sec!! if you dont thuroughly wash it off!

 

If I were you guys I would go to the HJ & if they try to kick you out then sue the living A$$ off the owner of the Mall. they cant do that to you guys.

 

That would be a reality "IF" we lived in the U.S.A.

 

If not Damage is being done to the Property & you guys are spending MONEY at the mall & you guys arent acting like a bunch of Social idiots. The land owner has no reason for not allowing you guys there.
Since its a PUBLIC place they cant legally kick you guys out.

I dont care if you guys live in canada check your laws.

 

The law is they can boot us out after 11:00 P.M. and no it's not exactly public property.

 

yea but if the mall closes at 11pm thats fine then leave but if they are just NOT allowing Classic Cars in their parking lot & allowing everyone else in that is discrimination.
The the thought of putting rock salt down which can Destory a car is property Destruction.

get together with the Mall guys (the ones with you JH & other) & stae a protest. make sure every newspaper in town & in the local area knews about it. Do it legally. & make sure that the OWNER of the property knows that she cant really do this with out a fight.
