The more the LS1's have been out the cheaper the parts have been getting, I think soon the LS1's will be the cheapest to mod.

Im hoping this drops the price of all brands , if it doesnt I will go ahead and get these . There exact copys man , thicker steel than hooker and available jet hot coated for a reasonable price for once . The dowsides are there not stainless *boo* and there not yet available with a good quality catted Y pipe .

Sweet. No room for cats though, by the looks of it. Guess you could rig something up.

Any idea on the y-pipe cost, or does that have to be custom done?

Yeah its under 500 $$ usd for the headers and off road Y coated and everything . Thats cheaper than the jethot longtubes alone and they are the same **** . Makes me mad they were charging us soooo much for stinking headers

You'll find them here
http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/

they have headers for just about everything there.Their getting good reviews from the guys at LS1TECH they also have very affordable Y-pipes.With our $ getting stronger I think I'll order a set.

Listening to Dave Carney's clips, the headers sound nice to me. Not as nice with the cutout, but still fine (IMO).

Maybe we should go for the GP...

Chriss here's what I was thinking of doing.I just checked at Air Care http://www.aircare.ca/ and you can have your vehicle air cared at any time.So I thought I'd get mine done just before installing the headers then I have two years before having to worry about air care again. At that point we should purchase a single y-pipe fitted with cats and move it from vehicle to vehicle as needed But seriously who knows two years from now what we may have done to our cars.
