carb question

carb question

I found a guy in the buysell that will sell me 2 complete carbs both rebuilt, and still disasembled, the newer one has been cem cleaned and what not... its a holley 650 double pumper...

hes asking $160 for the 2 carbs and a basic rebuild kit.

is this a good price im thinkin maybe 150 is if a good... anyone good at carb rebuilding i need some feed back before tomorrow plz

sorry one is rebuilt and together, the other one is takin apart and chem cleaned and is ready to go back together. so the 2 carbs and a rebuild kit fo the dissasembled one. for $160 or should i wait for a full one? i hope some new ads are in the buysell tomorrow... i have the intake, just need the carb then off to get my cam/lifters.

there are so many on e bay available i dont know why your going with this 4 barrel carb junk, youll waste so much gas and with tpi youll have better drivabilty, better mileage and a better power curve.

alright but kiss your mileage good bye with your big carbs. i had a olds 350 in my 79, cost a furtune to run so i yanked her out and dropped in efi

a 650 is perfect .. though a dlb pumper might be a little happy on gas ... i've rebuilt a holley 650 before once .. its hella fun

$160 for 2 carbs is a good deal

u can sell whichever udont want for $100

i saw buy it

make sure the choke works .. no choke = crank the car for 10 minutes before it starts

im so close to getting all my stuff together im goin to get my intake on saturday and i hope to have my carb by then, then the CAM da da daaaaaaa.

oh one question.... will a electric choke work with me?
