car totalled

ok well guess what... car lost control going into a turn at 50 kms/hour (YAH WTF)... anyways it started spining, went into a curb, axel broke, continued to spin, hit a fence, slid for a bit stopped.... all body panels except hood are scratched/beat up (but not dented cept rear)... rims are all pretty much shattered, tires gone, rear rotors broken calipers etc in pieces, rear lights broken, i believe driveshaft has some problems (so it looked)... and to top it off the cops came and gave me a speeding ticket an hour later for 100 bucks while it was being loaded onto the flatbed....

good news is, borla is ok (dont ask how...) tips and all... so thats prolly gonna be up for sale soon, same with a few other things... im prolly gonna buy the car back from them once they tell me its unrepairable(which im pretty sure it is)... ie leather seats, interior panels, boost gauge and pod, pioneer speakers, sony deck, DVC sub, amp, carpet, ...well u get the picture, interior is fine, airbags didnt go off??? guess cuz the front didnt really hit cept on the sides, the front lip was already scratched up tho.

I honestly don't think that they'll total that unless your frame is bent. Most of that is replaceable equipment.

I'm pretty sure that as long as they can keep you off of a frame machine you'll have your car repaired.

Canada may be different that down here though.

well its a pretty bad mess back there... the frame mite be bent cuz all the tires that were still on were angled really weird, and the car rear bumper juss kinda look off, couldnt really put my finger on it... good thing is the cops arent making me pay for the fence i took out, which saved my life...

D@mn that sucks! At least you're alright though.

The wheels may have been "angled wierd" due to bent axles...which may have resulted from hitting the curb(s) in a parallel fashion. I think they'll repair it.

Good luck.

A.

I can think of a lot of people who would say otherwise.......

That's good news about your car.

hehe... it doesnt even affect my personal rate cuz i wasnt insured as primary driver, my mom's insurance goes from a 43% discount to 40%.... and im gonna be at like 20-30% discount even with my like 8 accidents (one was claimed, but i wasnt insured driver in that case either, and its been 3 years so its gone away)
