Just wondering if anyone here has changed there own springs? I want to install my lowering springs in the next week or two......Does anyone know of any places that do it for fairly cheap? Thanks

I would do it myself . the rears are soooo easy, and the fronts aren't too bad once you overcome the rust.

If you're doing it yourself, the rears should be easy. The fronts will require a spring compressor which you can borrow from Crappy Tire. I've never done it myself, but informally watched it being done by my mechanic.

Here's an install guide that may help:

Good luck .

they aren't that hard to do it is just the rust that makes it harder
me and my buddy just did mine last Monday and we did his a while back. we got the backs in in like 25 minutes. but the fronts are a little bit harder and it is a bit more of a b!tch if you have TCS but you can get around that. they say if yuo have TCS you shouldnt take off your master cylinder but you can just use a torx bit and a wrench to get around that, we had to with my buddies
i dont think it is worth paying someone else to do this job

Do it yourself Johnny they are really easy. Just get a good spring compressor and a impact wrench

Good that you got some help. Mine were a beetch. The fronts anyway..rusted solid on one side. Air tools are best and a spring compressor . Rears took less than ten minutes. The guide posted above is good as well..I didn't follow it for the rears..but the torque numbers are good to know. Get some new bushings while you are gathering parts..the bolts for mine broke coming off...
