Looking for info on Canadian build numbers. Just curious to how many 01 SS's are out there.

There used to be an area on the SLP forum but they took it off. So as far as I know your best bet is to call them. Number is on their website. www.slponline.com or www.slpeng.com

Well Im kind of happy. If the info I saw is correct, there are only 144 2001 SS's in Canada. Still have to call and find out for sure and get my build number. BTW, SLP Forums are now dead.

I actually was thinking in the 250 neighborhood. It took me 5 months to find my ride. Good luck man.

Here is one to check out.

at first i just wanted a 98-2000 SS.

ideally 2002 is the one to get, but thats too much money.

so naturally i'd go for a 2001.

it seems less problematic then the 98-2000's

Yep, 2002s are still selling for a big chunk of change. The 01 is about 10k cheaper give or take. Seemed like a no brainer to me to get what I did.

2001 is a sweet year, you might even find a SS with a ZO6 block.

Ok, Im not going to say thats not possible because it is but........ Ontario seems to have the best prices. They also have the most selection. Over on this side of the world however selection is slim to none and prices are up there. There is one in Pentiction for 33K and they have had it for at least 3 months(which makes me wonder). It doesnt list kms or tranny. I think 30K would be possible, maybe even a high 29K. That is also one of the cheapest locally I have seen. They are tough to come by and for 30K, I hope you get what your looking for.

Good luck and happy hunting
