borla XR1 muffler

thinking about getting a borla xr1 muffler and hacking off my slp muffler. ive heard the borla catback at the dyno this summer and i thought it was too tame. but i hear the XR1 mufflers are nice and loud.

since my dual/dual has mandrel bent 3 inch piping i dont really need to change all thatt? all i need to change is the muffler right?

any help will be great. i was supposed to pick up a used loudmouth, but the fxcker screwed me over and sold em to someone else.

The XR1, correct me if I'm wrong, is a race muffler. In my opinion, on a stock motored car, this muffer will sound "less than optimal." The Borla cat-back is adjustable, so it should meet your volume needs. Anyone who hear my car on the dyno when it had the borla will vouch for how loud it was...and that was only "half" open!

BIG difference. I had my half open plate in and couldn't even talk inside the car to someone...then I closed it up and I could actually arive at my girlfriends house undetected
