Biker Death In Richmond

My girlfriends, friend died yesterday in an accident at Blundell and 2 Road by a "sports car" coming out of mcdonalds doing a left turn at a right turn only exit Flew 15 feet, cracked her ribs and bled internally to death.
Bikes are scary, she wasn't even going fast... but i wish i knew the @sshole who thought he was good enough to do a left turn on a clearly marked right only exit

Sorry to hear that dude, that sucks . An acquaintance of mine died a few weeks back in Burnaby near BCIT...there was some debris on the road, enough to send his 900 into a tree. His friends were the first on the scene and tried CPR to recover him...no luck .

I've always wanted a bike but know that I'd probably kill myself on one.

Admittedly, I made many left hand turns from a right hand turn only lane... but I think it is probably safer in some lanes than others. If you don't have clear visibility, you just don't do it. Naturally, you shouldn't do it at all, but sometimes the temptation of a short cut is too much.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Stupid wasteful actions like that shouldn't happen to anyone.

Sorry to hear that. Was the driver of the car caught or did they flee?
