My friend's bike (a 929? Its def not a 600) does about 70 mph at the end of 1st gear.. I can beat him off the line in my ls1 but by the time I'm hit about 40 mph he just fly's past me like I was standing still.. Basiaclly, the only thing he doesn't like about the bike is, he doesn't really have to shift in normla every day riding.. he just does for the fun of shifting..

If this is the same video i saw before (didn't actually open it, but it soudns exactly the same) look how slow the lines and everything else he passes go by. His speedo doesn't seem to be calibrated right.

 

so for the record, let me try to get this straight!? the bike can do like 80 mph, which is (129.6km/h) in first gear!!!! why do i have trouble comprehending that

 

Whren I saw the video there was no way I belived that he was that fast. The white lines would be one long white blur at that speed

 

actually i think they will get to the point of "standing still" just before they start to go backwards heh, at 230mph definately

 

Hey man, I got the Motorcyclist mag at home that even stated that they hit 84 mph in 1st gear on the 'busa.

 

i still think that video is 100% real
