Appearance mod

Well I've got 10 more days of insurance on the hawk then I drive my truck for the winter. The last thing I'm doing before putting it away is having a little touch-up on a couple of very small rock chips and stress crease that will require having the driver's rear quarter panel repainted. While the hawk is in the shop I've decided to get the brake calipers powdercoated red. I have little firehawk decals to put over them too. The big eye-sore around the wheels are the hubs. Starting to notice a little rust on them so i'm thinking of having them powdercoated too. I'm not sure how much more this will be but I'll find out tomorrow. Any advice in this area? I'm thinking of having the hubs coated black. What do you guys think?

Is heat resistant paint as good as powdercoating? No doubt cheaper to do it myself. I've seen pics on-line of people painting their calipers and hubs. My garage unfortunately isn't equipped for this procedure, no rhino ramps and minimal room to work. Powdercoating the calipers isn't very expensive.

Drum,

I'd really like to know how much you paid and where you got this work done. I need to paint or powercoat my hubs as I have quite the bit of rust. You can tell by one specific pic in my album in my sig. I was thinking a black color for the hub, then paint the calipers black as well. Please let me know, thanks.

Yo 1999V6, I'll let you know after the weekend when the car goes in. There's a good place in Port Moody that does nice powdercoating but I'm going to Eagle Collision, they have someone around there that does powdercoating for a great rate, so I've been told.
