Hey guys, planning a trip out to tofino with my gf for a few days in Aug, just wondering if anyone knows of any places that are fairly priced Thanks

 

Johnny...don't go cheap on your girl...go somewhere nice. I know the chef at the Wickennensih Inn (sp?), I'll call em and see what I can do...

...or you can go camping on the beach and have the crabs dig at your *****

When I was planning a trip to the island for me and my fiancee, we looked at that place, but decided on www.seasideluxuryresort.com instead...

but a bunch of my co-workers pointed me to the wickish place and they LOVE it...

you have several options:

1. cheapest - camp - either on the beach (you may get kicked off) or at one of several compgrounds or up any logging rod in the area. - free - $15

2 mid range - several small hotel/motels dod the road on the last 5 klicks into Tofino - no beachfront, some have a pool but basically they are a place to sleep - figure ~$65

3. 3 star hotel, water side,full ammenities - $125

4. rent a cabin or go to a 4 start (wikkeninnesh (sp)) - mucho dinerro.

I go there opten and have no favorites - where i stay depends on time of year and weather - I hate camping in the rain and the cabins are really cheap in the fall when you can watch storms.

Have fun - there is a lot to do there, if you like water

 

How about a B&B? There are directories where you can look them up.
