Question Anyone running mac headers here? Quick ???

I'm going to be installing mac headers starting on friday. I have been warned by my brother that the AIR bungs in the headers are larger than the actual AIR fittings so the AIR fittings will basically wiggle around and not seal up properly. Does anyone know of an adapter (probably from a plumbing store) that will work for my scenario?

Thanks guys

What you heard was true with mine. I had to pick up two fittings at the local hardware store. Even though they were both suppose to be the same size hole on the headers, one hole was actually a tad bit larger than the other, so I placed a bit of hi-temp sealant all over the threads when installing it. I would guess that if I could have chosen metric size fittings, I would have gotten a closer fit, even though I know they should be in US standard size. I also smeared hi-temp sealant around the drivers side single header tube that slides onto the rest of the header to keep any unwanted leaks out. So far it's worked for over a year. Hope this helps. A PITA to install, but I love the extra power/sound!
