Does anyone have an extra starter laying around? Mine just happened to die on me today. I got lucky and was parked on a hill so I bump started it. I don't always want to look for a hill to park on so I can start my car. So i've got to replace it quick.

or just lookup a starter/alternator rebuild shop .. i think i got mine for $175 or something like that

 

Is $175 a new one from crappy tire or was that a re-build? I can get a new one for about $205. Also have you seen any do-it yourself starter re-build kits?

 

I got mine as a re-built from Moben Auto clinic in Surrey for $165.00

I pretty sure you cannot get a DIY kit and i'd get a rebuild from CT if I were you.
