anyone have a spare LT1 fuel rail ?

or have theirs apart for whatever reason !?

my fuel pressure reads 41 at idle and 43 at wot .. that aint right

i wanna try another regulator (just hook up the pressure sendor and fuel lines .. not install the whole thing) and see if its my regulator thats bad

thanx

ps. or even better, if u have a spare fuel pressure regulator .. that would be best .. thanx

Something Injuneer posted a whie back

"Turn the key on, don't start the engine: 43.5psi, +/-2.5psi, so 41-46psi is OK

Start the engine, pull the vacuum line off the FPR: 41-46psi

Engine running, replace vacuum line: 35-38psi (can be higher if you live at a high elevation, or if you have a radical cam with little vacuum at idle.)

WOT: Pressure should return to the "no-vacuum" value, and stay there.

As you drive: Pressure will fluctuate between the values with the vacuum line off and on, depending on throttle movement (vacuum)"

Given that your running a bigger cam your numbers sound fine to me - but i guess testing doesn't hurt.

i'll test my own FPR tomorrow .. i hear if it doesnt hold vaccum its bad .. if thats the case i'll grab shauns ..

but the fact that i have a cam will influence my idle vaccum and fuel pressure ur correct
