anyone got a valentine 1?

i'm thiniking of taking the plunge and buying a valentine 1... they recently brought out version 1.8, and wont be upgrading anytime soon, i'd think... so now may be a good time to buy, plus the low US $, plus the fact that i have lots of US $$$ sitting next to me (so fundamentally it'd cost me nothing, as i've already 'accounted for that money')

i'm not gonna spend another dime on my car above maintenance, and am thinking this may be a good thing to buy....

any input about the product (i already know its the best), or general input will be appreciated

ps. i drive 5 days a week to and from ubc to tsawwassen, and have an average speed of 140 on all highways, thus speeding is an issue for me, hence my desire for a V1

Just get it. I highly doubt that anyone will try and talk you out of buying the V1.

I bought mine when it was first released several years ago. Since the intial purchase I have had it updated several times up to the current model. I can't begin to tell you how many times it has saved my butt! I don't go anywhere without it! Just this last week in Las Vegas it has saved me three times on Interstate 15 going to the California line!

Re: anyone got a valentine 1?

I've had ver 1.7 for oh probably 4 years now. I've always said it's the best mod you can buy for your car. Not so much for any speed improvement, but the joy of driving is so much better than before. People are put off by the price tag. But unlike other car add ons, you can keep the V1 when you sell the car.

Buy one as soon as you can. They're amazing. I don't know how many times I've just started laughing when you get the beeps/arrows going but the cop is still nowhere even remotely close to you. Finally you drive by, but with the biggest smile on your face.

First thing you'll need to do is turn the X band off.

Re: anyone got a valentine 1?

I want a Valentine 1 for Christmas and I don't care if I have to sit on Santa's lap and beg. If I don't get it I'll order it, it's the only one I'm considering.
