I ahh... test drove one couple weekends ago...
Haha, no no, I didn't buy it. Been busy looking for my C5 and going to school.
Anyways, just gonna give my feed back.
I test drove a red GT, all the 5-speeds
were sold out. So they put me in a 5 speed auto.
The car was smooth, very quiet, but smooth. It didn't feel very fast either, but I think mostly it's because of the new 5-speed transmission the salesman was telling me about. You know how in the Auto V-8 Camaros and Trans Ams, you chirp second when you step on the gas, for the Stang, it shifted like my granny's Benz. I guess that's why I found it so smooth, and why it felt slow
As for the looks, I must say, I'm very attracted to the front end and the side, however the back of the car can use some work, IMO.
The interior I thought was pretty much, well the interior of many new cars these days, with those funky those funky looking vents. The dash however, was very cool, really gives you that retro feeling.
Overall, I thought the price was a tad high (mid 30's before tax), and I pretty much just told the salesman, yeah it's nice, but it's no Vette.
Take care everyone.
