I just had my car aircared and failed, I found an exhaust leak today which may have contributed to it. It was at the rotating portion of the fitting to my AIR system.

Made me start thinking about removing it all together

When I had the car aircared they didn't even pop the hood! Is it OK to remove AIR in canada? It shouln't have any effect on emission at all...

 

If you think it won't effect your emissions - and you believe they won't catch it, then go for it..........

Yes I do believe it may be illeagal though.
