andy .. stop pissing me off I WAS IN HIS CAR .. HE HAD 15 PSI BOOOST ! why do u keep trying to cover for him !? he told me how his stock boost gauge will break soon cuz it keeps hitting the stop needle .. and i saw it with my OWN EYES ...

u say ford got this car right !?? I DONT THINK SO !! i think its PATHETIC for a 32 valve head (18 degree heads) 4 cams, and factory blown car to be making 345 rwhp stock !! thatS HORRIBLE ! u put the same boost on a 16 valve head oldschool pushrod motor and it makes well over 400 rwhp aka rybar !

and the only reason the Fbody died down is due to GM's lack of interest in keeping it alive !! when was the last time u saw any advertisement for an Fbody !?

I highly doubt it would be possible to hit 400 rwhp with only 4.6L and 8.5:1 compression in a pushrod, 16-valve configuration at stock boost levels.

And 345 rwhp is a bit low... I haven't heard of many dyno'ing down that low even when bone stock.

I just wish the 03 Cobra was a bit lighter. If they brought it out at 3300 pounds or so then DAMN that would be a sweet ride.

They dyno at LEAST 360rwhp stock...they gain 10rwhp from just removing the air silencer!!!

how can you compare Rybar car to this one...his car has WAY MORE than $2000 tax in even without the blower and he isn't makin 460rwhp...PS= for the record, I'd take Rybar's car over a Cobra anyday Props to Ryan

...just a little research

Mike, I think those numbers are fairly close actually. He has the 3.0 inch (or maybe even 2.8 inch) pulley with the catback and intake (not the 3.2 pulley), which I have seen (or read about) doing 450rwhp+. So, I think it is likely.

Personally, I think Ford did it right with that car. Good looks and great power. I'm not in favour of the IRS myself for the type of driving I like, and I am uncertain how the engine will handle having in the long run so much more power over stock... The ford crowd all seem to think it will hold out well, but that's a lot of power (and ignorance is bliss). We'll have to wait an see. But I like the car.

For the record, the STOCK boost gauge doesn't read in PSI...it reads lower to higher boost from what I can recall. Just like in an RX7. Plus if MAX boost in stock form in 8psi, why would you be able to read 15psi on the stock gauge Payam?

Sure our cars are great and thats why I own one, but picture this...460rwhp with $2000 into it, easily pass aircare, daily driving reliability (my car doesn't have this) and the ablility, with removal of the smaller pulley, to claim warrenty!!! Thats what I'm saying.

It may be 460rwhp with 2000 into it, but it sure costs a hell of a lot more brand new than our cars did. Apples to oranges... these arguments will always happen.

The guy I bought my car from bought a new TA WS6 for the same as what Sonny's cobra cost. Before tax it was under $50,000. I hear what you're saying though.

What about the initial 50 g's spent on the car itself I would say it is an impressive car for what it comes with from factory, but it is nothing extrordinary. If you were to get any LS1 Body and add a blower to it's original price you would be still under the initial cost of the stang and I think it would be faster as well

For the amount of money it is for that Stang I would just wait a little longer and get..........
C5 + ATI =

On a side note, there is two Supercharged C5's cruising around BC somewhere. I was talking to James and he was telling me the Surrey store sold two ATI kits for C5's Can't wait to see those cars

50g's for a new 96 WS6? I thought they were more like 38-40 when they were new...
Those Cobra's sure make some impressive power right out of the showroom though.
