What's up everyone my name is Chris and I currently live in Va. but I'm a native Texan. I have 2 fbodies and have owned 3.

First I have a white '96 Trans Am LT1 A4 that I bought back in '04. At the moment it has been sitting for nearly 2 years with a broken rod only mods I had done to it were cai and exhaust before it blew. My plans are to do a mild bolt on build and make it a streetable show car not sure yet if I'm gonna keep the LT1 platform(that I'm a huge fan of regardless what issues come along with it) or do an LS1/T56 swap.

Secondly after the bird blew I bought a '94 grey/green metallic Z28 LT1/M6. When I bought this car it was set up for autox. Lowering springs and adjustable Konis on all four corners. Sfc, 4 point weld in cage, adjustable panhard, and ls front brake conversion. Interior was stripped other than door panels, dash, & kirkey autox seats. Under the hood was mostly stock other than custom cai and 3" slp totl catback. I added 1.6rr, longtubes, and longtubes/ory. I added carpet and a console to the interior. On this setup and my first time launching an m6 @ the 1/4 I ran 13.65@103 2.11 60'.

I popped a head gasket a few months back and decided to do a mild heads cam build consisting of 58mm tb, LE1 heads, lunati 571/587 239/241@108lsa, 30# injectors, crane 1.6nsa rr, and a serious weight reduction.

So that's most of it I think lol. I'm a member of a couple other forums and love the help and info I've gotten from them. I hope to get even more here.

Thanks! Its going to be a hard decision to go ls but I'm thinking of giving the car to my daughter when she's old enough and let her street drive it. Will be a lil better more reliable dd with the ls I think.
