The security light on my 94 Z28 has been coming on but if I used both sets of keys would eventually start. Yesterday it worked fine in the morning but when I went to leave it wouldn't even turn over. I think I tried too many times to start it & now it won't crank over at all. My battery seems to be fine. Is there a way to reset the security? HELP! I'm frustrated.

 

First, sounds like an issue with the contacts in the pick cylinder


And it needs to reset by timing out, which is a while, I can't remember how long
