Hi all
I am currently rebuilding a '71 Z28 here in Zimbabwe. Being where I am, there is absolutley no access to parts or information at all so anything I need to do this rebuild will be imported from the US. This has its challenges, if you order incorrectly or have the wrong item supplied or short shipped, its a night mare and very expensive!
The car is a bit battered to say the least, good Camaro's just dont exist here. I have now stripped it down to a body shell and I am very happy with it, not much rust and no crash damage what-so-ever so it was a good buy I think.
The motor is not original, its got a supercharged 350, the tranny is ok as far as I can see but the 10 bolt rear end is in bits! It looks like a circlip has come out of the halfshaft and gone into the planetery gears! A lot of broken teeth! The interior is a total loss so I am looking to replace it all.
Any info you might think would be usefull to me, please, I'd appriciate all the help I can get!
