Newbie from Kentucky

Hey guys!! I am Kerry from Central Kentucky. I have a 1983 Camaro z28 that I received as a gift from my father back in 1988. It was in great shape when I got it....not so much now. It has light gray interior with cloth/vinyl seats and black exterior. There are 2 dents on the vehichle. One good crease in the door and one even bigger in the front passenger quarter panel. The back seat and passenger seats are in excellent condition. The drivers seat is torn. 4 speed auto. 305 engine. T-tops. I drove her for several years then realized I needed something else...more in lines of a utility vehicle. Well...the z28 went by the wayside regrettibly. I LOVED THAT CAR!! STILL LOVE THAT CAR!!! It has been parked in my parents' barn for several years...uncovered...not off of the suspension. I know...I know...I know....I have done everything wrong as far as storing the car. I am embarrassed to even tell you all that. If I had it to do over, I would get it up off the suspension and cover the car. But, it is what it is. I want to get her back to her glory days. Most of the work will probably not be done by me....as much as I would like to do a lot of the work. For one, I don't have the place to do such work, the tools to do it with....and I don't have a lot of time to devote to this major undertaking. I really don't know when this project will get underway...but I would like to start soon. If any of you are interested in pictures of the car the way it is now, I'll be glad to take a few and post them. When the project is completed, I'll be sure to post pictures. After reading all of what I have typed...I wondered to myself why I typed all of that. I guess I just wanted to introduce myself, let everyone know what I had, and let everyone know my thoughts about the car and the restoration. I have ordered and received a Classic Industries Camaro Catalog. Are there any other Camaro catalogs I need to order? Other places I need to check out as far as parts or how-to? Any and all information is appreciated. Sorry so much rambling. I'm just excited to be here...and hopefully get my baby running again!!
