New to Site - just got a Z28

Well I am a HUGE mustang fan and yet I found myself buying a camaro over the weekend. I own a 1968 Mustang that I've redone for the past 4 years and also owned a 95 mustang GT which I just sold to buy this Z28.

Guy needed money fast so I jumped on the purchase of this car. It is a 1996 Modified Z28. 100K on the car, 80K on the engine with the entire top end just rebuilt. Has cold air intake, some head work has been done, and car drives really strong. Has the SS rear hatch, aftermarket hood, custom paint job, upgraded suspension, T-tops, 6 speed, debadged, and straight pipes exhaust with 3" tips. There is more, but to be honest I have not dug into the car just yet to see what else it has.

Here are some pics though.

Not really a huge fan of custom pain jobs, although it's pretty interesting what he did to the salad shooter wheels. Well have fun with it and welcome to the board!

It most likely has a Z28 hatch with a SS spoiler

A Camaro hatch with an SS Spoiler.

The car looks good though, I've never been a huge fan of flames though. It's crazy that guy spent so much on paint, but kept on the stock rims.

How much did the car cost?

Thanks for the input on the hatch. What type of hood is that? I like it - gives the car a nice aggressive look to it. Those rims were put on the car before I bought it. I believe he had some aftermarket chrome rims on the car - but sold them separately. You'd cry if I told you how much I spent on the car. Let's just say that the previous owner needed to sell it REALLY fast. No job, no money, and has bills. I guess you could call it a recession sale. I really made out like a bandit on this deal.

Not sure what type of rims I'm going to put on it, but I'm currently looking at some nice black rims with a chrome lip, or some z06 chrome wheels. I think I like the black better though. Is it better to do all 4 rims at 18? or 17/18 or 19/18? New to camaros so still very early in my research.
