Been lurking for a while. I bought my car in June from a used car dealer so don't know anything about its history. Its black with black C5 Z06 replica wheels; only mods are pacesetter LT's with cats and a lid on it but other than that it is stock. It also had a ported and descreened MAF but it was throwing lean codes when it was cold outside and I don't like that so I went back to the stock MAF.
Got bit by the F-body bug back in college when my roomate (who graduated and got a "real" job) decided he wanted to build a car with his new income. He bought a 1991 Trans Am GTA with a 305 and we built up a 383 in our dining room with some good parts: Demon 750, Performer RPM, AFR 225 w/hydra-rev kit on a Comp XR294 cam, longtubes to sidepipes just in front of the rear wheels and a mustang TKO transmission. We both got married and "calmed down" a couple years later, and the GTA has been parked in his garage since he got 4 tickets in a single stop a couple years back but I got the urge to go fast again this summer and bought the 2002 to learn about the modern small-block. So far has been a lot of fun.
Been lurking on this site a while, figured its time to introduce myself. I'm an aero engineer in Houston and my other hobby besides cars is golf; I also used to fly planes (have a commercial license) but it got too expensive to do it for fun and the pay sucks when you are starting out.
