New guy with a question

Hello my name is Brian and im in the process of buying a 1999 z28 camaro. The only thing I'm worried about is that since i have yet to sit in the car because of having to go back to college, im wondering how well i will fit in the car. I'm a decently big guy, about 6 2 and about 275 pounds. The car im actually buying is in extremely good condition and at a good price, and i can't wait to long to actually buy it because it could be gone any day. My dad will actually put the down payment on it while im at school, and i won't actually be able to test drive it till i actually own it. My dad is a pretty big guy as well about 6 4 and about 240 and he says its a little tight, but he has quite a beer gut so im not to worried. Well that's about it, anything that could help me out would be great, thanks

Re: New guy with a question

well welcome... and speaking as a 6'2 guy I find there to be adaquate leg room, I dont even have to push the seat all the way back. Although there is not much room left behind me for anyone else I have had a 6'3 dude behind me. I cant say much for the side ways room Im 190lbs but I can tell you with an electric seat you got all sorts of angles you can put the seat. Good luck with your purchase!

I am 6'4" and weigh 237 Lbs. I fit very easily without moving my seat all the way back. I do not have a gut though. But I am very close to your dads size. I think you will be just fine. Oh, and I had power seats and T-Tops if it matters.

I'm a bit over 6ft tall, & I didn't have much of a problem fitting in them when I weighed over 300 pounds.

Welcome to the site. I'm just average height (6'0") but can confirm that two middle aged people dedicated to acting like teenagers can both fit in the front seat...
