New guy back to the world of American v8s

Hi everyone, Just picked up a 1994 z28 6 speed. I came from the dsm(Talon,Eclipse,Lasers) world, was and still am a club dsm member, even though I sold my awd eclipse. Its going to be nice not tuning in my z28 all the time.I installed a K&N cai, probably will go with a new exhaust, any suggestions? Car runs great, just one more question, I replaced the plugs tonight but what is the best way to get at the passenger side ones. The car doesnt have headers so I still have three more on that side to do. Thanks

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com!!

Always good to see another LT1 enthusiast on the site. Probably the best way to get started would be to spend some time looking over the posts on the "LT1 Based Engine Tech" forum. There's also an exhaust forum that's not as active but might provide some good ideas.

Just post on the correct forum when you're ready.

Fantastic, a convert. Welcome to the baddest 4 seater on the planet - a Z28!

All I remember about first time changing my plugs with stock manifolds was that it took me a whole cussing weekend. I removed the alternator to get to no. 2 with no luck. If I recall, best way is to reach passenger side plugs is from underneath.

With my setup, I must drop the passenger side exhaust pipe, and can then reach 2,4,6,8. Use AC Delco Platinum plugs and u won't have to change often.
