Basic mods such as better airflow in and out are good to start (high performance air filter and good quality headers). Read through the forums and you will find some good suggestions.

Hopefully, you'll find the help you need in making your upgrades. For starters, to help people help you, add a "signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and whether its stock or modified.
Look at the red task bar at the top of every page, and left click on "User CP". On the dropdown left click on "Edit Signature". On the screen that opens, enter the info about your car.
In Ted's post, everything below the solid line is his "signature", and is automatically appended to every post you make.
