"New" 1979 Z28

I am building a project car, a 1979 Camaro z28, with my Dad before I leave for college in a few years. Most of the work I have to do is by myself which will be fun but a challenge. I have been researching into how to remove rust but I was wondering if anyone on here had any advice they could please give me.

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com ! ! !

If you are looking for generic info on rust removal and panel replacement, there should be extensive info on the web. For info specific to a 2nd Gen F-Body, not sure that I have seen that info here. And unfortunately the involvement of 2nd Gen owners has significantly dropped off over the years.

You could try a "search" but a term like "rust" may be too broad. Maybe "restoration".

Welcome aboard.Removing rust is a dependent on just how much is there. Most of the time its just easier to just cut it out and replace it with new sheet metal.
