Hey, so I bought this 96 Z28/SS with the 6 speed, something I've always wanted ever since that commercial with the kid that predicts the car by the sound of the engine. Had a 95 Z28 when I was in the army, but this is the one for me. Look forward to checkin out the forum! Thanks

Mid-life crisis? I have been having them every 10 years since I turned 50 ;-) If I keep it having mid-life crises, by definition I should be immortal ... right?

Welcome to the forum! Clean looking ride you have there. I recently re-emerged myself and hopefully will be here a while now. Most as stated by Injuneer have moved on away from what many consider a dinosaur. It is a timeless design in my opinion and to be honest I get tired of folks asking or inquiring about when you gonna put an LS in there...I'm like I'm not! Oh well let the mods begin haha! By the way thank you for your service to this nation! I was an old Grunt from 83 to 93 myself.

Thanks for your service. I had a Mercedes sports car when I was in the Coast Guard in the 70's. For some mysterious reason I now have a boat with a 5.7L Chevy engine now. Who could predict it;-)
