Long time Camaro enthusiast

I have loved camaros since I was about 5 when my mom showed me pictures of her 77 z28. sadly I don't remember ever being in it but my mom wishes that she had kept it since the day her and my dad sold it (stripped out, no floorboards, but souped up engine and tubbed out rear-end). I have driven a few 3rd and 4th gens though. I almost bought a 2000 z28 that had a few mods but didn't buy it because of insurance reasons (2500-3000 a year under my mom as a part time driver). so I am now saving money for a 2010 LT/RS, which will basically not be driven for 2 years except for weekends and when my mom drives it to work, (don't want it getting messed up at college) then it will be a daily driver. also because I'm not much of a mechanic type my parents wouldn't let me get any car older then 1988 (I had an 88 Buick Reatta) so I couldn't even really look into 3rd gens which for some reason I love the boxyness.

welcome but... why get a 2010 and let it sit for 2 years? Just wait, save up money and buy yourself a 2012 as a graduation present. Sounds stupid to get one and pay on it for two years while it sits... just IMO.
