Hello From Detroit Burbs

Hello from NW Burbs of Detroit.
I have a 98 Z thats giving me problems and I have no idea where to start.
it has about 147k miles
Cant even remember if the engine is a 5.3 or 5.7 (DUH)

Been reading here about LS1, LT1, etc, I dont even know where mine fits in.

Starts rough and The codes its sending are pointing to oxygen Sensors.
The shop Ive taken it to tells me they believe these are false codes, caused by a fuel pump that is going bad....Is this possible?

Anyone recommend a good diagnostic shop on the NW side of Detroit?

The 98 Z28 has a 345.7ci (5.7L) LS1 engine.

Post the details of your problems, and the exact numerical trouble codes (format "P####") in the LS1 Based EngineTech forum.

Where exactly are you located? I am from Algonac, MI and could probably hook you up with a tech or two that will meet you somewhere to help you out...that is if the tech section on this board is not able to (which they will be able to).
