Hello
Hello
Hey everyone. Just looking for another forum to meet some more people to talk to about my passion for cars. My name is Terry, I live in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and i'm 23 years old.
I own a 97' Camaro RS; 5-speed 3.8L V6. It has:
High flow K&N intake
Flowmaster 40 series exhaust
New OEM replacement clutch; flywheel; slave cylinder
Polyurethane transmission mount
Short throw B&M shifter
New OEM replacement throttle body
Upgraded to 1 piece driveshaft from a Z28
16" rims from a Z28
Custom paint
Various interior details
My ultimate goal for this car is to return it to showroom quality. Given it is my first and only car I don't plan on putting any over the top performance parts on it. Since i've gotten the car it's been a constant project to revive it from its hard life. I've mostly been replacing with OEM parts to keep it running to get me to work. I've always been in love with cars. Growing up my favorite car was a 1st and 2nd generation Trans Am. What are the odds id end up with a Camaro as my first car? This car sort of fell in my lap and im glad it did.

Re: Hello
Nice looking car. Restoring and upgrading it for reliability is a good thing to do. These cars are generally well made (the only thing that failed on mine that was not of my own doing were the windows switches). Welcome to the board.
Re: Hello
thanks for taking care of your camaro. we are proud to have you as a camaro owner. i recently bought one for my son. even though he is only 10 years old, i have decided to introduce him to the passion of cars. when he turns 16 he will be able to enjoy that feeling of freedom i had when i got my first car.
