Decoding Help
I am looking at a 1967 Camaro SS, in my research I have found a ton of information and thought I might see if there was an experience person with decoding the VIN and Cowl tag on this car. The car has SS badges with a 396 with a 4-speed. The seller is unsure about the full story of the vehicle. See info below and any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Questions like this come up from time to time. Unfortunately, not a lot of 1st Gen members left on the site. But you may get lucky if one shows up. There is a thread in “Classic Engine Tech" that has several cowl tags decoded, and references to data resources.
