My Z28 has a black roof that has bubbles in it, the paint guy tells me the roof has an epoxy and clear coat that will be a tough job to sand off and re-paint, therefore, expensive. Has anyone else experienced this?

The bubbling paint is pretty common. The line about difficulty sounds like BS to me.
