Wink 1994 Camaro V6 Project: BANSHEE

Hello all! I'm Jackson. Just to let everyone know, I'm probably going to make you all feel a little old.

At the beginning of November, my longtime girlfriend had an intense visual migraine while driving my 2001 Camaro convertible to work and totaled it. It was a 94k-mile car that I had bought for 4500$ post-college (September of this year), and the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Safe to say that the only use I have for it now is as a parts car in my shop. A few weeks later, I traveled over an hour to purchase a 1994 Camaro hardtop base model for 800$. Well, 600$ after getting to know the owner.

Owner was hesitant to make the sale, but warmed up to me after discussing my desire to make it roadworthy. Apparently some idiots had been lowballing him wanting to demo-derby the car. Why this kind of car, I'll never know.

A few weeks pass and she's finally road-ready, save for a new set of tires on the way. New fuel pump, swapped in the dual rad fans from the 01', wired it all up and she's ready to go. Needs interior work and paint fixes (probably some wetsanding and new clear coat.)

Never letting my girlfriend drive this one. LOL.

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com ! ! !

Thanks for saving the Camaro from a wrecking ball.

Not too many active members left here, but most of us are 4th Gen LT1 fans.

Thank you for the welcome. Wish it came with something cooler than the V6, but I DO have an LT1 block and heads waiting for the rest of the engine for a build... hmm...

Will 1969 camaro rally wheels fit a v6? What kind of backspacing would I need for a 15x7?
