The Year is Over :(
i still have more to do....but those r the major mods im gonna do..... i am a little short on cash considering im a senior in high school and work at market basket and have to pay for college next year....we should have a New england cz28.com meet at NED next year...... that would be fun meeting everyone
I agree with the new Englanders getting together at NED. Sounds like fun.
I too am short on cash, (age has nothing to do with cash flow), but hopefully over the winter I will manage to replace the front and rear main seals, replace the valve springs and rockers, upgrade the fuel pump to something more appropriate than the stock unit, and find a way to remove another couple of hundred pounds from the car.
My primary goal however is to find a stable ponsor for the season. I have had several sponsors in the past for one season at a time or a special event, but I am definitely looking for a major sponsor for a three year deal.
The goal is not to chase points at one track but to attend 30-40 events throughout the the eastern half of the US, focusing on major bracket events and IHRA national events so i can do a bit of travelling as well as racing.
My main work (computer management and consulting services) can be accomplished pretty much from anywhere so if I can just find the right sponsor I can easily do both. Plus it would be nice if i could make enough money so my wife doesn't have to be a car salesperson for the rest of her life.
