From experience, go with just a regular LS1. Nothing, nothing different about the B4C regardless of what you have heard. And they have all been rode hard. Ragged, out, curb hopping, median crossing POS's . The door hinges will be shot from be closed a bazillion times, the suspension will be GONE, the motors will be tired and the trannies will be just waiting to go like a hand grenade with the pin pulled.

Find a clean Z28 or SS and you will be much happier........

Thanks, i found a guy who has 8 2002 FHP cars about 2.5 hours from me. he is slowing going through them to make sure they are road worthy.

 

there is a dealer just over the NY border that deals with old police cars, and he ususally has 1 or 2 b4c LS-1 cars and ususally a couple more LT-1 b4c cars. and all the 9c1 caprices you could ever want. ill ask my buddy what the name of it is and post it up here for ya.
