Question Where Do I buy a t-56 around Boston???

Hey guys, I am looking to pick up a good t-56 for around 1500 or less without the clutch(already have mcleod) I live here:

I live near boston and I dont know where to go to look for this kind of thing around here. If anyone knows about shops in new england or salvage yards etc let me know!

I dont have an answer but if you have your old broken t-56 I may take it off your hands.

Most salvage yards have a search service. When I needed to replace my drivers side door glass one of my local salvage yards was able to order it from another yard in the eastern part of the state. It was fast and I didn't have to pay any outrageous shipping fees. You might give some of your local recyclers a call and see if they can turn anything up for you.

Another lead might be Forte's in Waltham. They sell new transmissions, but they may also have a source for used ones as well.
